BUS PASSES
To apply it is a three step process.  Application Forms are available online at NSW School Student Transport.
  1. Parents must complete the application form online via NSW Transport.
  2. The administration office will receive a notification and are required to verify the information.
  3. Once processed at Busabout, Wagga Wagga the passes are delivered to the school for distribution to students via class tubs.
NOTE:
  • Should you change address, a new application will need to be made.
  • For existing bus pass holders, bus passes are automatically re-issued by bus companies at the commencement of each school year (ex students who are entering Year 3)
  • Children entering Year 3 who have previously held bus passes will be required to complete a new application form. All children from Kindergarten to Year 2, regardless of distance from school, are eligible for free travel. Children in Years 3 - 6 Primary are assessed for eligibility.
  • Refer to the NSW School Student Transport website for bus pass eligibility information.

PRIVATE VEHICLE CONVEYANCE SUBSIDY
Transport for NSW administers the Private Vehicle Conveyance (PVC) subsidy. The subsidy is available to NSW residents where there is no public transport (government or private operators) available to transport an eligible student for all or part of the journey to school. The PVC subsidy is only intended to offset the cost of using a private vehicle to drive the eligible student and is not intended to cover all costs.

For general eligibility criteria, including medical grounds, joint custody and rejections and suspensions see
PVC Subsidy Terms and Conditions (pdf 65KB).
The Henschke Catholic Primary School library is open for borrowing through the week with each class allocated a borrowing time on a regular basis.

All children are also encouraged to return and borrow books during any lunchtime that the Library is open.
