Curriculum

In collaboration with the State Government, we have compiled a responsible and comprehensive curriculum for your child. From morning to afternoon, their learning and wellbeing are nurtured to develop upstanding young citizens of our community.

Our staff are passionate about providing a faith-based experience which instils our values of Faith, Love, Support and Education.

We have a number of school services to help your child enjoy a safe and inclusive educational environment, so browse this page and get in touch to learn more.

Student Wellbeing

By appointing a Pastoral Care Chaplain, the school can work to support the wellbeing of students and staff. The Pastoral Care team meets weekly and works closely to ensure a consistency of service and diligent attention to the wellbeing of our students.

Centacare is associated with the Catholic Education Wagga Wagga office and is based on a Catholic Ethos of providing school, family and relationship counselling, with the option of educational programs.

Get Involved

Henschke Parents and Friends

The P&F provides a formal structure and support network for parents to participate in the school’s activities and decision-making processes to benefit the school and their children.

We value home, school and community partnerships to provide the best for your child. However, this cannot occur when only a handful of parents are involved in the activities of the P&F, decision-making, information sharing and enjoying the successes.

Parents, carers and families are the first teachers of their children. They have the right and responsibility to engage with their child’s education.

You're invited

We invite you all to attend the P&F meetings, which are held on the first Tuesday of every month in the staffroom or via Zoom at 6:15pm.

These meetings give you the opportunity to hear about the direction for the school, how we spend money, what educational programs we are implementing, how teachers educate your children and how the school is growing as part of our local community.

While not everyone can attend every meeting, regular attendance will increase your knowledge about your child’s education, give you information on the direction of your school, and increase your feeling of belonging to your school community.
